We are a robotics team from a Title 1 elementary school.  With 20 students on our team, we started building our 5 robots back in September.  We went to our first competition in December. The students immediately wanted to go bigger and better with their robots. They began coming to school early to work on them.  Then, they began giving up their recess, most of their lunch and begged to stay additional days after school.  Every waking moment was spent building and redesigning.  When they weren't at school working on it, they were at home researching the best way to design a winning robot.  We went to 2 more competitions where we competed against kids many years older and far more experience.  At the 3rd competition, they excelled like never before.  One team won, which meant they qualified for State. 

They walked into the state competition knowing most of the teams had been there before.  These 5 boys were fearless.  They were determined to do everything they needed to win.  And win they did.

Now we are in a situation we never dreamed would be possible.  We qualified for the World Competition.  We are trying to raise the funds to get these 5 amazing kids to Kentucky to compete on the world stage.  Please don't let all of their dedication and hard work not pay off.  Help send these future leaders to the World Competition and a once in a lifetime experience.
